A rainy day in May.

It's been a very long time since I posted anything, had the best of intentions but.......

It's been raining here for about 3 hours, which is very unusual. By next week everything will be very green.

The kids continue to grow and change, and we now have help with Katrina 7 nights a week...still adjusting to the new schedule. We hope to sell the house soon. Too many debts have accumulated during the past 3 years, and we need a home with fewer stairs. Trying to sell the VW also
God continues to amaze us and we are looking forward to the future that He has for us.

Blog Number 2 - Too Much To Do

Our busy life continues here in sunny, snowy Alberta. Today we awoke to a heavy snowfall, the roads were a real mess and it took a long time to drive across town to work. There were accidents all over the city and the radios stations couldn't keep up with reporting the traffic incidents because there were so many.

Lucas was feverish last night, and again this morning, so he stayed home from Pre-school today. He was disappointed because he really wanted to go today.

Katrina had a pretty good day, no ill effects from yesterday's surgery. She really likes being rapidly lifted high in the air, it makes her laugh. Her laughter was louder today than I have ever heard it, very cute. She has been a very quiet girl most of her life, but recently has begun to make a few more sounds. I expect her to actually say a real word one of theses days. she sometimes seems to make a sound that could be interpreted as "Up", it's kind of an uuhh sound.

She now has pretty red glasses which make her look very studious, and she mostly leaves them alone, except for when she occasionally pulls them off.

Well, it's been a long day and my pillow is calling....goodnight.

The first blog.

Today Katrina had surgery to place tubes in her ears, it went very well. She had the same procedure done about a year ago but the tubes have fallen out. We were home from the hospital before lunch!
Eric went to Edmonton yesterday on a field trip to the Provincial Legistlature. On the trip home the bus got a flat tire, so Eric was transferred to another bus for the rest of the trip. He was disappointed that he didn't get to stay on the bus with most of his classmates and see the rest of the movie they were showing.
Lucas is looking forward to pre-school tomorrow, he goes to a friend's house afterwards every Thursday and enjoys himself a great deal.
More later....
